Sales & Refund Policy

Our refund terms are simple. A digital license key is dispatched only after you confirm your order by email — so until that point, your full payment is always recoverable. After the key has been delivered and used, no refund is available. All refund requests must reach us within 30 days of purchase.
1. How the order flow works
Before we get to refunds, it helps to know the steps a ZyphraGuard order goes through:
- You pay through Razorpay.
- We email you at the address you provided at checkout, asking you to confirm that the payment was authorised.
- You reply to that email to confirm.
- We dispatch the digital license key, together with a step-by-step redemption guide and a direct link to the vendor's activation portal.
- You redeem the key on the vendor's portal.
A key is only dispatched after step 3 (your reply). Until then, no product has been delivered.
2. When a full refund applies
You are entitled to a refund of the entire amount you paid if:
- You did not confirm the order. If we do not receive your authorisation reply, no key is dispatched. The order is cancelled and your full payment is returned through Razorpay.
- The key cannot be made to work. The key we delivered failed to activate, you sent us a clear screenshot of the error from the vendor’s activation portal, and the brand provider was unable to issue a working replacement.
3. Refund window — 30 days
All refund requests must reach us within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date shown on your order confirmation. Requests received after the 30-day window are not eligible regardless of reason.
We strongly recommend that you attempt to redeem your key on the vendor’s activation portal within a few days of receiving it, so any issue is discovered well inside the window.
4. What is not refundable
- Delivered and used. Once the key has been dispatched and successfully redeemed on the vendor’s activation portal, the product has been consumed and is not refundable. This includes keys that were redeemed by you, by someone on your behalf, or under any account you provided.
- Change of mind after the key has been activated.
- Buying the wrong product, wrong number of devices, or wrong subscription length, after the key has been activated.
- Issues caused by your device, network, antivirus conflicts, or use of an operating system that the vendor does not support. Please review the vendor's system requirements before purchase.
- Lost or forgotten vendor account credentials. Account recovery is handled by the software vendor directly.
5. If your key does not activate
Your key is supplied directly by the software vendor and functions exactly as the vendor releases it. ZyphraGuard does not generate or modify keys. If a key fails to activate, the resolution path is:
- Email support@zyphraguard.com from the address used at checkout, including a clear screenshot of the error message shown on the vendor’s activation portal. The screenshot is required — we cannot escalate a non-activation report without it.
- We forward the issue to the brand provider together with your screenshot and order details. Replacement keys are issued by the major brand company, not by us.
- If the brand provider issues a working replacement, the order is fulfilled with that replacement key and is no longer eligible for refund.
- If the brand provider is unable to issue a working replacement, you are entitled to a full refund under Section 2.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@zyphraguard.com from the email address used at checkout. Please include:
- Your order ID (shown in your order confirmation email; begins with order_).
- The date of purchase.
- A short description of the issue.
- For activation failures, a screenshot of the error message from the vendor's activation portal.
We respond to refund requests within 1 business day. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Bank settlement typically takes 5 to 10 business days depending on your card issuer.
7. Cancellations
The order remains cancellable until you reply to confirm authorisation. If you do not reply, or if you reply asking us to cancel, we will not dispatch a key and your full payment is returned through Razorpay. Once the key has been dispatched, the order can no longer be cancelled.
8. Chargebacks
Our email confirmation step exists specifically to prevent unauthorised orders, and your confirmation reply is retained as proof of authorisation. If you believe an order is unauthorised, contact us first — we will help resolve it quickly. A chargeback raised after you have confirmed the order by email is investigated as fraud where appropriate, using the retained reply as evidence.
